Mum battered as she shields infant from enormous hailstones

A younger mum has posted pictures of the injuries she been given as she tried to protect her infant daughter from tennis ball-sized hailstones.

Fiona Simpson from Kingaroy, Queensland was in her automobile with her newborn and grandmother, about 130 miles north-west of Brisbane when she drove into a storm.

The large hailstones smashed as a result of the car’s home windows. Fearing for her kid’s security Ms Simpson set her system on the line.

Recovering in clinic later she posted photographs on Fb of her battered and bruised again and shoulders and explained what took place.

“I’ve learnt my lesson nowadays, under no circumstances travel in a hail storm!” she wrote. “I covered my infant with my system to prevent her from obtaining badly injured.

“My total again, arms and head are poorly bruised. “I’m just so relieved that my daughter and grandmother are alright.

“Remember to, make sure you be thorough in this storm period. I know I’ll be sore tomorrow, does anyone know of a product or ointment that will support with the bruising?”
