A lion cub has been seized from an condominium in Paris soon after it was evidently set up for sale on social media.
Police identified the six-7 days-aged animal in a suburb of the French capital and arrested its proprietor.
The feminine lion was uncovered in a kid’s mattress in an apartment belonging to the suspect’s neighbour.
The 30-year-previous operator was then uncovered hiding in a cabinet, mentioned a police source.
Le Parisien newspaper said it is considered the suspect fled from their personal apartment and took refuge in the neighbour’s when the police arrived.
The cub, which was in superior well being, was handed around to wildlife officials.
In the films advertising and marketing the animal, a gentleman was noticed presenting the cub for sale for about €10,000 (£8,830), the resource said.
The origin of the lion is mysterious.
